Hi, I am new to armorama/serious modelling.

I am more active over at the ARC, because I build helicopters, but I throw some figures and armor into the mix. Im 16 (and driving ), and well, ya, thats about it. Oh, ya, I play football, wrestle, and throw in track/field. I like the outdoors (hunting/backpacking/sailing).

Welcome Austin! Awesome helo. Hard to squeeze in some glue and paint time with all the sports, huh? I recommend sports first . You can always glue and shoot paint when you're 9 zillion years old!!! :-) :-) :-)

Thanks.

Ya, believe it or not, football started today, and we just got out of school three days ago.

Here is some more info on the pavehawk. It was one of the pavehawks that took part in the a rescue mission in Iraq that won some Air Force Award that they give out every year ( I can't remember the name). The call sign on that mission was Jolly 11. The bird has also help in Katrina relief and been to Africa on other flood relief missions.

The stokes litter someone from the ARC sent to me. Its also my first time with resin/photo-etch/major scratch building.

Nice copter. I started off with planes also but when i turned to armour i never was able to get back to the flying thingies.

Welcome to the site Austin and looking forward to seeing more pics of your work. Its always fun to see a fellow young modeler(17here)

And keep the heads up, the site sometimes has contests in the armour section for those 16 and under...
