I need some advice on online shopping for kits. The guy at my LHS just raised prices on all of his kits to beyond bearable. He still gives fantastic discounts to his RC bunch though. I have used Squadron before, but lately their prices appear to be kinda high. The new Tamiya Char is 53 bucks plus postage! I have seen it almost 20 bucks cheaper at online places. Which place should I look to get good prices, service and reasonable shipping charges to California. Anyone can answer this especially if you have an online business looking for a customer.

Thanks in advance.

Well that's the $1,000,000 question!

Most of our sponsors seem to be reasonable but you need to do your homework. Deals can also be found on eBay

One question.
I have looked here and the prices look great. How long does it take for the kits to arrive in our part of the world?

My number 1 online store is Squadron.com. I have used many of the online retailers who advertise on this site with success as well.

Mark:

I ordered and took the slow shipping route(2-3 months) and it was here within the 3 months (give or take a day).

There are other shipping options, but I am cheap.
