Yep, those things are still pretty well disrupting life in Europe, There was one about a German Bomb in a UK river the other day. I read some where that in France, the farmers were still plowing up WW1 shells and grenades.

the french and belgian armies have units dedicated to doing just that. the french were even storing old gas munitions that they had recovered from ww1 battlefields in a village without the locals knowlege, that is before the gas started leaking

some time ago (i don't remember the exact period,guess a few months ago) a private storage was discovered in the house of a french civilian. He lived near the border with belgium and was a collector of WW1-relics. In his house the police found more than 4 000 000kg of amunitions and explosives that he had found in the wW1-battlefields...
