I just about fell off the chair when i saw this!
Wow!
I had no idea that this thing was going to be this expensive in Canada.
Then again I have noticed everything alot more expensive at MH since the big merger.
I really want this kit but there is no way I can justify paying that kind of money. I will definitly be finding an alternate source.

This is the exact reason I preordered it out of Hobby Easy.$40.00 CDN + shipping.I also Preordered two of the Centurion for $30.00 CDN each.Even with shipping and tax (if I get hit with it) it will save 50-75 bucks if not more on the three kits.I would prefer to keep my money here but there comes a time when you have to look at the bottom line.
Check out the online stores and see what they want for them.

Yeah I always try to buy locally but I just can't pay that kind of money for one kit. With the dollar being so strong its hard to not look elsewhere.
I will be checking out some of those sites.
Thanks guys.

That is a lot of money, especially when I see our American friends talking about $40 USD for the kit, although one guy mentioned a $59 USD price tag, which would bring it more in line with the MH price.
If its that price at MH , My local model shop will probably be selling the Char at $90 Canadian if he follows his usual mark-up trend.
I guess I will have to shop around for this one.

I'm a big fan of supporting the LHS when it comes to buying kits, even if it is a few $ more. But I think I will be drawing the line at this. 10-20% more, OK, I'll still go local, but at a 100% more than mail order? Pass.
