Hi everybody,
i don't know if this the correct forum area but its the one i read the most .... so here i am..!
Im "brand new " to this wonderful site and community , so before posting something i thought it could be a nice idea to let you know who i am..

My name is Marcello and i'm from Italy 37 years old (...sigh...) and modelling since a very short time...( well i started when i was younger....but i cant say thath it was real modelling....mainly a kind of glue and paints experiments....) so right now im trying to do it seriously since 3 or 4 months ...no more...

Actually im working at a Submarine....( i know this an armour section .... sorry guys...) a U-Boat type VII / C from Revell scale 1/72 , as soon as i finish this i'd like to try with an armour ( i already have in my hand a Panzer IV ausf. H from Academy and a MIGHTY Panzer IV ausf. E from Dragon...i know i should be patient but i cant wait to start building those guys...!! )
Since reading the various discussions in this forum gave me a lot of interesting tips on painting techniques and else.., im posting some links to pictures that i took recently on my U-Boat work; its not finished yet , but i'd like to have your impressions on how the work is proceeding and obviously hints to improve it...thanks a lot in advance for your patience reading this HUGE post..!

Here they are:

Done..! ( hope the links will work...)

Well thanks again , and i hope someone will spent some time looking at them...i really need to have a "pro" opinion on how things are going on...!

See you mates,

Welcome Alesandro. I like your rusting effect and peeling paint. Looks professional to me.

Hi and thanks,
rusting is obtained with a particoular powder ( the brand name is Hartz i think its a professional product used for art painting .... ) and i found it really realistic.
Thanks again and hope this will result in a nice finished sub....im looking forward to start building my panzers....i can't wait...!!!
