Now I’ve heard of a hunting dog but this is just ridiculous.

:-) :-) :-)
Actually its my dog Lefty and he doesn’t come hunting with me. Tried training him for it but he just couldn’t hit anything. I’m not sure but I don’t think he even trys to aim.....
I mean couldn’t get him past the point where he wouldn’t bark at any little thing that moves so I gave up on him as a hunting dog.
Now he’s just are guard dog. Not very good at that either. Last time some one tried robbing he shot the house up trying to hit the robber. Dang he has bad aim..... :-) :-)

Roderick I was under the impression that the average person can’t have a gun in Japan. Did that change?

Those bear look like they would be good hunting. And now I’m getting hungry.

And Chinas not that far way... if I remember correctly they pay good money for the one internal organ...
I mean. Um. I wouldn’t know anything about that.

Wow lots of good info there.

For the shotguns do they have anything limiting the size?
Some day I should go over with a punt gun (a BIG shotgun used to bring down a flock of birds) and get qualified with that. (Yes I imagine its not allowed.)
The target shooting part would be real easy with that.

That looks like a great dog. I wouldn't be too hard on him, at least he's not a scardy cat.

I know few people use Golden Retrievers for hunting dogs, but I wouldn't even try to use mine that way. When he was about two months old, and we'd only had him a week, our other Golden opened up his nose in a small fight. He's been an absolute wimp ever since. About the only time he willingly comes into the house from the back yard is when a German Shepard three doors down is in his yard. Duke then comes running in afriad of the other dog.

He's like "William the Conquerer" aka Willy, from the movie Patton. I'd call him "ductchess" if it weren't too late.
