Saturday my oldest daughter graduated from High School. One down, one to go. We've still another daughter who begins her Junior year in the fall.

I probably shouldn't post this, but here she is in all her glory.

She was kind of upset in the ceremony. We gave her two middle names after her two grand mothers. Mary after my mom, and Patricia after my wife's. You wouldn't think they could screw up Mary, but they announced Amber Marie Patricia, which really ticked us all off. A once in a lifetime event and they couldn't get it right. Oh well, she's thrilled to be out, and her Mom and I are very proud of her.

Now, once she decides she can't stand us any more and moves out I'll finally get my modeling room. :-)

Congratulations.
And don’t worry when I graduated from my home school a few years ago they didn’t even give me a middle name. Just 1st and last.

Must be something in the water out there. I have a friend in Utah who can't spell either.

Congrats Amber Mary Patricia! Now, quit moochin' off mom and dad and get your own place! Daddy needs to pursue his plastic and glue passion. :-)

Congratulations.
I think that's wonderful.
NO--- not the name mistake, just the graduation.
Now off to college, a good education, and you'll be able to support your poor old dad in style. :-) :-)

:-) When my wife graduated from uni some years ago, we were expecting them to screw up the name Blacker (Germans have trouble with the 'A for apple' sound), but the prof even managed to screw up her Dutch first name, so Antje Blacker became Anja Blecker!

Congratulations!!!

An exciting day for sure! My youngest has one more year to go, so I'm looking forward to the event as well. When she graduates next year it will have been eleven years since the last time one of my kids graduated from HS.

Something in the water here in Michigan too, I guess. :-)
