Hi all
I finished my Churchill AVRE 1/72 last month and decided to do one in 1/35, the thing is I'm having a hard time finding a Churchill kit to build and scratch the bridge onto
Any help as to where the best place to find one , or which company you think has the best build ?
Had a look on E-bay but most (at the time of looking) were resin or from abroad.I prefer to work with plastic.

Thanks SAS007

Hi Steve,
Tamiya is the only game in town if you want to build 1/35 scale plastic. Check out Ospreys "Modelling the Churchill tank" by Mark Bannerman, it has an article on building the Churchill Bridge Layer, be warned lots of space required..

Hi Peter

I had a look at that book when I was at the Scottish Nationals in Perth (Scotland) last month , it was very good with plenty of pics.
As I've said this kit is hard to get as there are not many model shops around here.

Thanks

Like Joker said Tamiya is the only game in town for 1/35. They have two versions. The earlier kit is for the crocodile version, with the towed trailer. It's kit number 35100. There is the newer version, 35210, that is the same basic kit, but with tracks that can be glued, and additional figures. Either kit should work for your needs. You can normally find these online for between $20 and $30 usd.

I've got a complete (99% sure) out-of-box early kit w/o Crocodile Trailer. Can you pay in U.S. funds?

Hi guy's
Finally got my hands on a kit , only £15.00 so now I can think about starting the scratchbuild of the bridge.
Just have to rescale the size's from the smaller kit to 1/35th scale (But I know a man who can do that , my dad Barv :-) :-) )

Thanks for the shouts
