No, I'm not really a Dukes of Hazard fan, but I'm looking for one of these oldies, If you've got a build up or a beater let me know. Not a collector, what I need is the frame, motor, suspension and some interior components. I'm plannng on building the K&K Insurance Dodge Daytona stock car.
MPC issued these kits under several different guises; STP Dodge from Richard Petty and a couple of street machines. I won't be buying one from Ebay as I don't care if it's sealed in the plastic.
I gotta ask, you never know...
Cheers

Hi Joe,
Thanks for the offer but it has to be a Dodge ( big block hemi motor and all) by the time Richard is driving that Gran Prix NASCAR was running small blocks..much different .
But thanks you for the offer, I know you've got one.
Regards
Pete

No, never was a fan of the show. I found a source for a 1/16 scale Dodge Daytona body you know, the car with the big wing on the back..totally dominated stock car racing ( as it was known then) the same car broke the 200mph record for closed coarse in the 70's wasn't broken until the late 80's by a twin turbo Porsche 956
The Dodge happens to be on of my all time favs from a great era in motorsports, race car guys all around the world were starting to play with aerodynamics and weird and wondeful ideas where flying around , some classic racecars at that time, corporate Europe and America had yet to discover rolling billboards, but some Detroit guys coined the phrase "Race on Sunday, Sell on Monday" they got it! Engineers ruled, not Sponsors.
If you come across on of those MPC kits let me know, and as I said I'll take a build up too!
Regards
Peter
