When I go to Modelgeek it says welcome back BM2 but then when I try to do anything it asks me to log in and then it goes to the cookies page -I have done everything it says but still no go -I can log in from my work pc no problems - any thoughts - running windows XP with Internet explorer

That usually indicates a corrupt cookie or cached file. Dump all your cookies (which is a good thing to do now an again anyways) and cached files and then try again.

You can do that under Tools > Internet Options in IE.

Okay....take me through this a bit better...

1. You have removed all your cookies and cached files.
2. You go to www.modelgeek.com (what do you see?)
3. You try to login (what happens?)
4. If you login what does the greeting say?
5. What page are you going to when you get the error?

1. Yes
2. If I go from Armorama I see "welcome back BM2" if I just go to modelsgeek I see "welcome ! Please login or register with the Kitmaker Network of sites"
3. I get redirected to the Cookie problems site
4. cant get that far

just tried to go to the gallery and it dioes the same thing-redirects me to the cookies page.

Changed my password and cleared all traces off my pc and now I cant even login to armorama

John,
It sounds like you have a privacy or security application that is stopping new cookies from being created. Just look in:

C:Documents and SettingsusernameCookies

And see if there are any new cookies present. The sites won't work without cookies. Did you run an XP or other update recently? Perhaps the settings changed on you and you didn't even know it.

I got it to work- I turned off my E-trust firewall logged on and then turned it back on - seems to be working fine now

Glad to hear it. I have had my own Firewall woes recently regarding mail.
