Hey gang,

Just got this book and on my way to chapter five. I've read many German memoirs and so far it seems nothing special about this one. Contrary to my opinion, many people love this book. Am I still too early to judge? Have any of you read this book yet? What do you think?

Ben, I've only read 'Commando Extraordinary' by Charles Foley, which was a badly written account that I think had heavily borrowed from Skorzeny's memoir.

I think the popularity of the book is more to do with the following that Skorzeny has.

You say this book is 'nothing much'. Why not? Boring, or badly written?

My bad... it's getting better and better. The fact is no-apology, no non-sense. I admire that!
