I discovered PTlens - a fantastic Photoshop plugin to fix a range of problems (lens pincushion/barrel distortion, chromatic aberration, and vignetting) at a single click. If you don't have Photoshop it has a standalone version as well.
Details here: http://epaperpress.com/ptlens/
Here are before and after images - look at the horizontal crane section

Two things:
First-Do you think this would work on a photo of a sign that was not taken from the exact front? (to create parallel sides?
Second-I'd like to see other shots of that dio. The sense of action is conveyed very well by the figures.

You can download the standalone version which has 10 free tries before you have to buy (at $10 the ability to fix pics is not that expensive) and give it a whirl. Otherwise send me a copy of the pic and I will see what I can do.
The dio and final placement of items is not finished yet - its still missing a full Sturmtiger hull and turret . When finished I promise there will be more than enough photos. Have already taken 150 during the build!
I am still getting the feel for things such as lighting and FoV so heres a few in the meantime from the cutting room floor

That is a very nice tool. It really does make a difference and for $10 not to expensive.

Lol - I had an enforced break away from this project to do some quick builds. The stash is now finished, and only finishing touches now on the current one. I will start the end run on the Sturmtiger dio in the next week or two
