This summer (july 08.- 22. ca.) I´m going to visit some family in Harrisburg, PA.

I have been to Gettysburg, Aberdeen PG and Smithsonian i Washington, but not the new airmuseum at the airport.

I´m considering going to New York for a few days.

Any suggestions on?:

Things to see.. museums etc.

Shops to visit

Beers to drink (apart from Yuengling)

Where to stay on a short trip to NY

Anybody wanna meet over a few beers ?

Harrisburg is about 4 hours west of me. NY about an hours east. Maybe we can meet in one or the other. I'll see if I can arrange for Pvt Pats to rearrange his busy schedule to join us. Best days are Wednesday or Thursday for me.

Be prepared to laugh a lot, and do goofy things, since I laugh a lot, and do goofy things a lot. :-)

Dave, so far we got a deal!

Catch me on skype when you know a day that suits you. I plan on taking the train to NY, but I have a car at disposal.

The truth is .... take the train..... driving and parking in NYC is insane..... I take the train or bus myself. Once in the city, public transportation is no problem.

I don’t really know any of the places over on that side of the state. But I do know if you head east on I think 422 you can tell your friends you traveled to Lebanon. They don’t have to know it wasn’t the country. :-)

As for beer you should be able to find plenty of that out here but I can’t help you with a brand. A lot of us drink stronger stuff.

Now if your going to head out west at all can always check out Fort Legonier, the flight 93 crash site, and even the hiking trail up by my club ( it has a better name then that I just cant remember it. Some President walked the trail along time ago but I can’t remember who it was. I’ll try to get back to that one whjen I’m more awake.)

Ofcourse these things are over here closer to pittsburgh so you may wish to wait until I different trip to plan on seeing the.

Grumpy - ROFL. With the way homeland security is nowadays, may be hard to get her accross the customs officers. LOL. "Whats in that large crate?" - "Nothing"

Jacob,
You know Lebanon? My father was born and raised there. Anneville, Indiantown Gap, etc.
