Has anyone had any luck buying spare parts ,actually sprue trees, from either Trumpeter or Italeri? I'm looking to get some LAV -25 suspension componants for some Cougar hulls I'm casting and would rather buy the existing sprues than having to cast new. Your thoughts are appreciated. Thanks Pete

i have never tried from Italeri, but I doubt it.. I did try Trumpeter and Academy, and was told they don't sell sprues. I think Tamiya is the only company that does. Good luck.

I was able to receive FREE replacement parts for an Italeri Panther, just by contacting Testors corp and explaining that several fragile peices in my kit on "Sprue B" arrived damaged. They sent me an entire new sprue, and they even paid the postage!

Thanks for the information, but as the Trumpeter LAVs are so cheap, I think I'll just buy the kits and use the suspension for my Cougars and the turret for the new trump Stryker and make it into a Canadian version... Once again, Thanks to all Pete
