I just also wanted to say that we had a realy great time!!!
The visits to the different museums, rides on the Rooikat and TTD tanks (including over the tnak obstacle courses) The taking out of the T-72 for us to sit in, photograph and get a de-briefing on.
Having an Olifant Mk1A and a Rooikat taken out and all hatches opened for us to climb in and photograph to our hearts content . The visit to Armour school's open air museum. (VERY interesting!) and indoor museum.
The huge facilities
The fantastic visit to 16th SQDN - home of the Rooivalk Attack Helicopter! - being able to photograph them close up. :-) . The de-briefing on them and further visit to our new Agusta 109M, Oryx, and Alo's.
The after hour activities
Many thanks to Charlie Deal and the guys from Bloem!!!
All those who missed it - man do I feel sorry for you!!!
Cheers,
Graugrun

Ditto on the thanx to the bloem guys. And on the pics. I think your inbox won't be able to handle the 1.2 Gigs worth of pics I took. Rather send a DVD.
Oh and those rides where very lekker. Now I know how it feels to ride armor.

Rudi,
I don't want to sound too daft, but how do I post pic's here?
I want to put up pic's of the venue for the September event to whet the tastebuds so to speak.
Regards,
Tappie

Hi Tappie,
Posting pics is easy - I see you've already got uploading pics sorted, so I won't go into that
To post a pic, click the thumbnail of the pic you want to post. A bigger (full size?) image of the picture will be opened. Underneath the image are two framed sections, namely Photo Details and Additional Info. Under the Additional Info section, select the text contained in the UBBCode text box, and simply paste into your message...
Hope that makes sense...
PM me if you need further help.
Rudi

Just found the IPMS SA report of the Nats over on their site. Here's the link: http://newsite.ipmssa.za.org/content/view/183/51/
Unfortunately there are no pictures of the models yet, but apparently the gallery will be set up shortly.

Thanks Tappie...
Do you have many more pictures? If you want (and this goes for all that have pictures of the event) you guys can either upload to the support centre or email me selected pictures (ideally we would need 50-200) and I'll happily do a Photo Feature here on Armorama showcasing the cream of the SA crop.
