Well, my son and I attended on Sunday and noted the following -
This year "everyone" decided to build armor - so as for the last 4 years I clapped for the winners.
Not as many airplanes were entered as last year nor ships. In fact in some ship catagories the one entrant was also the winner.
The outdoor display was better than last year with the addition of the M4 Sherman (running) and an M88A2. As with last year the Marines were there to answer the same question for the hundredth time and all the time with good humor.
I also want to thank a couple of Marines who came to the aid of my son who became ill at the show. By the time I realized what was happening they were lending aid and even helped him to the men's room to clean up. He recovered quickly and we enjoyed the rest of the day. (kids!)
The winners of the Tamiya big four awards were all well deserved and I wish them all a fun filled trip to Japan.
