I was just wondering if any of you guys has tried these books (Wings And Wheels Publications) for armour subjects. Are they worth getting? Do they have good pics and drawings for references?

Thanks

i have just picked up the latest one on the SA-6 Gainfull and was quite impressed. the book was in full colour, plenty of pictures all around the vehical

pprinted on good quality paper, there where no line drawings, but the amount of photos more than made up for it.

i cant really comment on there others but if this one was anything to go buy i wouldn't worry to much

Thanks for the feedback, Keith. I was interested in their issue on the GMC 2 1/2 ton truck. I guess I'll get it.

I have the one on Soviet Anti-tank guns. It won't be the last I buy from them. All photos, no drawings that I can remember.

I am very impressed with their Hind and BMP books, but much less so with the OH6 volume.
If there is a part of a Hind NOT pictured in their book it's a small one that it would take a good mechanic hours to get to!

On the other hand, the OH6 book is very basic in it's coverage, adding little to an already undercovered subject.
I bought the Hind book first, then grabbed the Oh volume up sight unseen thinking I'd be getting the Hind treatment of my fave helo.

My advice would be to get a good look at the book or a first person review for the book you want before buying.
