Currently I have a Paasche airbrush, and to be quite honest, I really don't like it. Cleaning it is a pain, the controls are too loose, settings are difficult, and the spray is too wide for any detail (ie camo patterns).

I guess my question is I've been looking at some of the Aztec Airbrush systems and wanted to know what people think. They're supposed to be easy to clean and give great results, is this true? Any reccomendations as to a particular model? Anything I need to know for when I get this? Any quirks Aztecs have?

Any help/guidance is appreciated.

I use the Aztek 4709. Works great for me. Easy setup and cleanup. And with the different size tips, does everything I want it to do.

I switched from a badger BACK to Aztek for just that reason. I have 47 something or other. Just make sure you clean it real welll EVERYTIME if you decide to get one.

Hope this helps

I also use the Aztek 4709!! Man I love the thing... I've had a Paasche "H", have still a Badger 350 and 200. The clean-up is great, but you do have to be very careful how you clean it. You're not supposed to have to take the tips apart, but I can't keep it clean enough, for my taste, if I don't. They are made of plastic so they will wear out eventually, but 10-15 USD per tip is not a bad trade off...

What is involved when it comes to cleaning the Aztecs hat make them so much easier. As I said above, the Paasche is a royal pain in the bum to clean, I just wondered what about the Aztec makes it so muh easier.
