WOW!!! At first glance, I thought this is one of the replicas used in movies like Kelly's Heroes or Saving Private Ryan... but it's a real tiger tank!! I didn't hink there where any functional ones left.

Thanks for the link, thier is a donald duck WW2 film in thier as well in german service though.....interesting stuff though.

I hadn't heard that Bovington had gotten their Tiger running yet. That's a great short film. I've GOT to get back to the UK one of these days to see that museum in person.

hi guys that fim is two year old from the tank fest at bovington i have about 25 mins of the tiger going around the circuit as i was there its a really good day out i believe this years tank fest is 22 june i believe but check there web site highly recommended day out

if you go on to the Bovington web site there is s whole history of the restoration of Tiger 131. Including the near complete disassembly of the tank and rebuild. By the way - the engine powering the Tiger is not the original - that one blew a pistion after being rebuilt and this engine is from another Tiger.
