Karl, since the figures you have are so detailed, the best way to go might be this way......

Slings and things

You can also make slings. I've done it cutting thin strips of paper gluing them on with white glue and coloring them with a marker. This is an old model car / airplane trick for seatbelts / harnesses. Though I really like that set that Vinnie showed, I didn't even know it existed.

Steve, there's even one for US Soldiers:

Rifle Slings'n'other things

The beauty of both of these sets, is that the slings are pre-coloured, but it's the detail in them that's special. I've made slings from all sorts of things in the past, but once you've used these it's hard to go back, they look that good.

Yes he is!!! I sometimes wonder if Vinnie doesn't live here, you know, deeeeeeep in our Registries? :-)

I've not tried either of these sets (knew about the German one through Vinnies review) but, now that I know there is a US one.... ..and as stated, expensive, but..........THANKS Vinnie!!

Vinnie never sleeps, ever. He's a machine when it comes to builds and answers.

He needs to start his own internet service, screw 'Ask Jeeves', just make it 'Ask Vinnie'! lol
