I wanted to annouce that the American Armoured Foundation (Tank Museum) in Danville Va. will be holding a 25th anniversary Show on 4-29 and 4-30. I attended the show last year and have visited the museum several times over the year. I must say that it is a VERY impressive museum, complete with Tanks, uniforms, small arms, cannons, and even a Cobra helicopter! Everything is indoors and they are constantly preserving pcs.
During the show there will be "runners", re-enactments, and a model contest. The contest is pretty tame-- but it seems to grow a little more every year. The entries a bit pedestrian to me, but I think there were 200 plus entries!
If you're not familiar with SW Virginia-- Danville is roughly a 45 minute drive from Greensboro, NC.
