Hi folks,
First, I really don't know if this is the right forum or not. If the moderators think it belongs in a different forum that's fine.
A friend of mind sent me the following request. I had nothing for him so I thought I'd post it here and see if anyone can help him out.

Quoted Text

This would be directed to the ex-military/present grunts.
I need to know if there are any sources for detailed
blueprints and/or scaled drawings that can be had
for the following:

RPG-7
SA-7

The Security Forces out at the base would like a copy
to scratchbuild replicas for training. I searched the
WWW high and low to no avail. Found nice reference
pics but need the measurements.

Just to let you know, they tried the local army detachments
to no avail on that end.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Dennis

I'll send him a link to this thread so if there's anything you can offer, please post it here.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer him.

The length of the RPG-7 is 950mm. If your friend has found good references,he should be able to scale them up to that length.
I'm assuming he's not in the box, otherwise he'd have access to the real things to copy.
There used to be a place called TASSC on military bases that had resin weapons-AK's, M16's, RPG's-for training. I don't know what it might be called these days, as for training, we now use the real things.
If they're set on making replicas, the hardest thing to make will be the sight. Here's a close up of mine:
