Steel Beast would do. It's a modern tank game.

For older versions of Windows, M1 Tank Platoon is excellent. I still run it on my old Win98 computer

This is a program that I really miss playing and I was downhearted when M1 Tank Platoon 3 was dropped as 2 was brilliant with Glide [3DFX] but not the same without. I find steel beasts a little graphically challenged, however a new version is out but is a lot of money, however nice looking.

Ya want a tank sim? Get ready for something as real as it gets, they've FINALLY released Steel Beasts Pro Personal Edition. The price is pretty steep but it's a SIM, NOT a game.

www.steelbeasts.com

To prepare you for some sticker shock, it's $125.

I enjoy Steel beasts. Once I went through a few teaching modules I settled in for the practice shoot em up mode. You are the gunner and they run down a road. You try to kill as many as you can before they get you. I've managed to get as many as 8. Need a whole lot of first round kills, and after you've croaked a couple they start coming fast and faster ad actually start manuevering on you.

You guys want something to wet your whistle? Check out this game. T72 Balkins on Fire.

Now this is as real as it gets thus far. There's a demo, and I've gotta admit, the demo kicks my ass, there's a lot to remember because I couldn't print the key stroke commands. There's a million of them! Its even got the blade so you can cut holes into burms or dig yourself in. You can drive, command, or be the gunner. Guys, this game isn't for the faint at heart, its a really good simulation. Here's a little info for you to check out, I found the demo on 3d Gamers.com under the sim section. Its a ball buster.
