I finished this about a month ago and it totally blew me away. Definetly worth a read.

Roger, I remember you saying that this book disturbed you. Well.......it sure wasn't what I thought it was going to be either. This book in my opinion is a must read. It made me rethink some of the opinions I had of the Pacific war as well as attitudes on both sides of the Pacific.

I totally agree with you've said here. I feel the book is a "must read." My wife couldn't understand how it affected me, and frankly I couldn't tell her the details.
