John, you will have to provide more info e.g. Scale, Type and/or preferably kit number. Darren Taylor (p7) did a review of the Revell P-47M right here on Armorama!

Assuming the kits are 1/72, Revell does/did three kits for the P-47. Scale Model Aircraft Kit Reviews (SMAKR) has reviews for the kits:

Kit # 04141 which was their old P-47M
Kit # 04185 which is their newer P-47M
Kit # 04155 which is their new P-47D (28/30)

As to the Revell A-10, not sure, but this could the Matchbox kit reboxed.

Hope this helps

John, good news on the A-10, the Matchbox kit had a few issues. Is this the boxart on your P-51D kit?

I just bought the Revell 1/48 Reno Race Set, which has the P-51D and T-6 in it. Chances are the P-51D is the same as the one in your kit (also paid £4.99 for my set).

Reviews for the Revell P-51D vary widely, with some stating it’s a “Dog” and others being more kind “some fit issues” etc…

A few reviews for the Reno Race Set:

Hi Eric, Yes thats the box art, I read the reviews and noticed a couple of different details, my kit is in silver grey plastic the cockpit has moulded seat belts, it also has a couple of panels which can be modelled in the open position machine gun hatch has moulded on ammmo belts and machine guns are suppplied also the bottom engine cover can be left off and has moulded on detail there.under the wing assemply is a large area with where two large hatches go with moulded detail I think their part of the wheel wells. I think this is going to be a wash and drybrush challenge. thanks for your help.

John, that is definitely the Monogram P-51D and at £4.99 it is without doubt a bargain!
