Hi,

This is a follow-up to a topic I posted in the Armor forum about visiting either the Bovington or Saumur tank museum. When I get to visit Europe this summer I would like to take a tour of the D-Day and Normandy battle sites.

Has anyone taken any tours like this? Could you provide some information about this?

Thanks!

Scott

Scott, Have you made any definite plans yet? Friend of mine living in France has often taken myself and parties down to Saumur from the UK. He can offer accommodation and will also provide Normandy Tours. How many of you travelling? John

Actually I'm not the one making the plans. My brother has an abundance of frequent flyer miles due to business trips and has offered to take me to Europe. About all I've done was say where I was interested in going (and most of them have been eliminated). He will be making the final decision on all of the particulars.

Thank you for your offer of assistance. When I hear about anything definite I will be sure to check back.

Thanks again!

Scott
