We had to get a new digital for my department at the foundry. We need something to get good close up pictures of castings for quality documents. We bought a Canon S2 IS. Nice camera. Now all I have to do is figure out how to use it.

Picture of a dime on one of our castings. It has a "super macro" function...

The Canon S2 IS is a sexy beast if ever there was one! It will do everything but bring you morning coffee!

I take it you will be "borrowing" it alot :-)

Looks like a nice beast u got there. The Macro feature looks sick.

Of course management is permitted to bring it home, and take photos of their models......

But of course Dave. I wouldn't want to "learn" to use it on company time...

I bought my little Intel pocket camera at a yardsale for $8.00......Yeah, it's a piece of crap but then it doesn't show all the mistakes I make on my models. As long as I'm using a crapy camera I can blame stuff on the camera and not the model builder. :-)
