I got a new kit this afternoon. It's the new Trumpeter KV Big Turret. Most Russian kits come with decals for slogans to put on the side and this big turret sure has lots of room!
Anyway, my question is this, the painting and marking guide shows a slogan on the side of the turret, "bEN OAWHCTOB" is the closest I can get on my keyboard. I went to a site to translate and I think it says Beat Fascist's or Fascism. Do this sound close to any of you who read or speak Russian?
Thanks,
Rob

That seems about right for the time.
Try highlighting the words,if they are on line anywhere, and go into babblefish.com.
I did that for a slogan I will be hand painting on a KV I am building...

Hi

It says: БЕЙ ФАШИСТОВ wich means BEAT THE FASCISTS

The others in the kit say:

ФАШИСТСКУЮ - FASCIST
габцну - Don't know what this means

НАМИ - BY US

Hi Sim,
Thanks for the help. I think I'll use the decal as a guide and paint the slogan on.
Thanks again,
Rob
