Greeting all,

I received an e-mail form Mike at www.netmerchants.co.uk telling me about a new payment system being intorduced shortly.

It's a sort of pay as you go system, 10% down payment on kits and the rest over 6 months. I believe the idea is to make the more expensive kits like hobbyfan more easily available to modellers.

I imagine that if you want an expensive item this would provide an easier way to afford it. I'm sure you will have lots of views on this. Sorry but that is all the details I have at the moment.

This is fairly standard practice in other sectors, so personally I think it's a good idea, the more choice the better as far as I'm concerned.

It can be a bind when you have to save up for something so this might offer a useful option.
