my cat decided to try and eat a 1/35 figure leg right in front of me
I gotta keep my cats outta my room or I probably won't have any figures with legs :-) :-)

Hey Luke, being in our hobby, you should have known that cats are a models worst friend.

Sounds bad, but I don't think cats belong in general modeling. Figures! No... Seroiusly, this should have been a junk-drawer topic.

Carpet monser, or pets which is worse? btw, don't forget the "CRACK" of a wooden floor, a smalsl piece, and the rolling chair

Ohh Luke, on the contrary, shes a smart dog, lab and retriever, smartest dog i know without kidding. She's so smart that thanks to her i got a new pair of shoes :-) ( she was only a few months old when it happened)

And agree upon whodini this pretty much does belong in junk drawer sorta....

Pets can be like that, not their fault
Though that doesn't make me less frustrated when my over-enegetic Jack Russel runs through the house at Mach 3 knocking over all my boxes of spares, kits, etc.
I wouldn't mind it at all if the bloody thing knew how to clean up. :-)

My jack russell once chewed up a fender from my marder lll. The teethmarks were so small it passed for battle damage.
My tropical fish show no interest in modelling

My little fat cat that stays in the same room as my modeling setup, and has never touched anything....
she's only interested in affection, and food.

Doesn't even get on the desk, but will find all those little parts on the floor for me, if left alone over night.... :-)
I guess she figures if it's on the floor, it's one of her toys.... !!!

i think you own a clone of my cat dave, you just described my little stinker to a T, down to the fact that she hangs out in my modelling room and has never touched anything on my desk (but hides underneath it)

:-) :-) Believe me Phil, I would never allow the other two in the room...... the rooms they run lose in everything is either in glass curios, or the shelves has 1/8' clear plastic sheets protecting the contents. ... :-) :-)

Luckily my dog leaves the models alone.
But when we 1st got him and his sister they found some of the kits I had built when I was younger (at that time I wasn’t building models)
In one afternoon they took out a T72, 2 jeeps, half the field hospital from mash, a handful of infantry, 2 entire starwars dios, some train cars and 2 wooden WWI fighters.
They won’t even supposed to be able to get into that side of the basement when it happened.

Luke
My cat tried to see if my 1/32 scale Spitfire would fly off the top of my wardrobe (how he got up there I do not know) .
When I found what was left he knew to hide .
He's got about 4 lives left now :-) :-)
Moved all my modeling gear up into the loft and now he just gives me evil eyes from the bottom of the ladder .

my cat can get under an entertainment center that is only about 3 inches off the ground and he can work his way the top of the fridge to get some potato chips :-)

Here Kitty, kitty.....here kitty, kitty!!! Got SEVEN of the furry, hair-balling, gotta puke little poops!!! The eldest is 14 and the youngest is 1. Love 'em to death!!!!! Considering I grew up with German Shepards it's a wonder!!! Think it was the Military....would hate to subject a dog to military life (tiny apartments and what not)...cats on the other hand pretty much take care of themselves.

Once Kitmaker is back up, I'll post some pics of the "furry, hair-balling, gotta puke little poops."
