how to restore rivets on 1/35 helos?

I guess the title says it all. The MRC UH-1C lost some rivets in the sanding process. I though about drilling little holes where the rivets should be - it would hardly be noticable on the belly of the helicopter. But if there are some better (and cheap) ideas, please share them with me.

I like to use super glue, it's real easy to do. I pour out a few good drops of super glue and wait a few mins. Then using a tooth pick I'll dip into the glue and touch it onto the kit. To help keep the rivet lines straight, first draw a pencil line and lay the rivets along the line. I tryed the white Elmers glue...but it doesn't work as good as some of the rivets ended up falling off during the weathing.

Archer makes dry transfer rivets. I used them to detail around Blackhawk windows. They's very subtle, but then so are the real ones.
