Hey Armorama family!
Too bad I finally have a reliable internet connection and today I fly back home from det. Go figure!
Last time I was here was 1986 on the USS Enterprise. Things have change here alot, esp. at Clark AFB. There's more UPS aircraft than military. The only thing that hasn't changed is the people. I love this place. Nowhere in the world have I met people that are always smiling, always being courteous to you and the FOOD!!!!!! I gotta hit the gym when I get back! Ya'll need to take a vacation here!
Unfortunately I didn't get to have a San Miguel or a Red Horse, no alcohol while we were on excersise, but what the heck! I ate 3 peoples share of Pancit, Lumpia, Halo-Halo and some fish dish I cannot spell or pronounce. I'm gonna really miss this place. I got 1 more deployment before retirement ceremony on 17 December 2006. Stay cool all and I'll hopefully see some of you at the Seattle IPMS in April. Cheers!

Chief out!

Seems like you enjoyed your stay in the Phil. Love that food myself :-) :-) BTW, did you check out the model shops back here?

Shonen,

Unfortunately we weren't allowed to leave the compound here except to go to the Hangar/flightline, Duty Free shops and McDonald's drive through. Our transport drivers were great in going out and getting us stuff though. Didn't think to send one out to a hobby shop. Must have been the distractions at the pool.LOL
