Choices choices. I used to love that about cable TV. This week we have the rest of the Olympics which should be pretty dismal because all of the folks that NBC hyped up to win 5 meadls each aren't doing it, so what's left? 3 nights of the "Simon Singing show", has been celebrities dancing the tango, has been celebrities skating on ice, has been celebrites living in a house,...oh and for something completely different. People doing stunts and eating gross things for money, people guessing which box for money, people trapzing around like lost puppies for money, and people living on an island and "roughing-it" for money. All television regular show with the exception of 3 have shut down this week. So spent the weekend finishing up my large scale Lady Lex, and reading law books. This week I'll have plenty of time to work on itty-bitty airplane conversions for the Lex and actually get ahead in school. (At least now I understand a lot more about setting up trusts than I did after class last Wednesday)

Looks like its time to stock up on DVDs and videos :-)
Usually the only thing I watch is comedy central, history channel, or Mythbusters on discovery

HI, To me the TV is about the most worthless thing going in today's world. Whether you have cable with 27, or 77, or 277+ channels, they are all pretty much basically the same as far as entertainment value goes.
About the only time it's on here is for the cartoons for the grand kids and maybe a show or two at night, if the wife is home and watching it. Of course she has her DVDs and tapes, but I can't even stand to sit down and watch any of them either, no matter what the subject matter may be.
Being almost 60 now I figure I really don't have the time to waste by just sitting and watching what amounts to be absolutely nothing.
Good luck, and take care, Larry
