hey everyone.. as you know we are having a local competition for armor modelling, so thought i start this topic here for in-progress reports, pics or just plain borak... ...how many of you are entering anyway?

i'm doing an AFV club sdkfz.11 towing an italeri 75mm PAK 40... the pak is basically finished, the halftrack just needs some green camo paint... i'm going to add some crew figs from tamiya as well... vehicle will be from the GD division in kursk 1943... donno if i want to include a groundwork for the base or not....

i'll try to get some pics over the weekend... maybe if i have some time, i'll probably do another model too...

Jimbo aren't you suppose to work on your truck for Move It campaign as well. I noticed Mr. Roo put up some very nice pics for you. I hope you get to finish the campaign as well as it would be nice to finish this one with another kaki.

... ah yes, i think the campaign deadline is 31st may... so still got plenty time lah....

so you submitted the VW for the campaign right? do you have the pics of it during the war?

Yeah Jimbo I submitted my VW much earlier and I was lucky to find a pic through a Yahoo search of the only surviving vehicle at the VW museum at Wolfsburg, Germany.

Looking forward to seeing some of your armor pics for the competition. I like the idea of the halftrack towing the PAK as it gives the viewer more stuff to look at then just a single AFV. I'd go for the groundwork. Let me know if you need any help. Any friend of Maria is a friend of mine.

Maybe I can ask Maria for you to pose with them.

i love to join...but curerntly so many job la

this year alone i enroll in 2 campaign , OIF/OEF and Flattop..
plus preparation for attack of the botaks, so no armour for the time being

ah, thanks CK.. i might need some advice on the groundwork later... btw, instead of a tennis racquet, do you think maria will look good with a PPsH SMG? :-)

Modeling cerita dulu or else Boss marah but then again he's always off topic too. When I read about your halftrack I already picture a simple base in my mind. It'll look something like what Grumpy submitted for Move It.

As for Maria I always pictured here with something more sexy, a HK PSG-1 sniper rifle or perhaps two MP 5K. The 2 MP 5 K will be strategically drapped over her uppermost assets of course.
