Scott,
I visited halifax back in 1993 for an airshow, WHAT A BLAST!!!!!! I also took a quick tour of the Flower Class Corvette Sackville. However I lost the two rolls of film I took. Would you take a trip to the pier and take some photos for me? If its doable, PM me with your address and I'll send you a couple rolls of films or disckettes if you have a digi-cam. Thanks! I have a Revell kit in the closet that will be started when I return to the states.

Hey there Chief,

Well I myself don't live in Halifax....I live up in Fredericton, New Brunswick, which is about a 4 1/2hr drive away....and I probably won't be getting back to Halifax probably long into the new year....obvioulsy for the Hobby show....but not sure if I am going to get down before then.

I have however did a search on Google for you, and cam across a few web sites with good pictures...and a ton of stories on the HMCS Sackville.....she was quite the interesting boat!!!

Anyway...here is one link:
http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/hmdock/sackville/sackville.html

and here is another:
http://smmlonline.com/reference/walkabouts/sackville/sackville.html

Just do a search on http://www.google.com for HMCS Sackville, and you get quite a few pages on articles involving the ship and all its iterations.

Hope this helps!!!
