I knew the owner personally when i lived in Berlin, and he is a good guy, so don't worry about getting ripped off. frankly i am suprised by the delay. If there is something wrong, it is an honest mistake. Also keep in mind people in Germany tend to leave for weeks and even months at a time, particularly in winter. and they do not often understand the impatience americans have with customer service. regardless, don't worry - he'll get it straightened out for you eventually, just might need some patience if  he decided to flee the horrible german winter for a while
