Howzit guys,
I found the following on the IPMS SA website regarding Africa Militaire 2006:
Quoted Text
AAD 2006 will in all probability be moved to AFB Ysterplaat, Cape Town during 2006. TAKE NOTE: Due to logistical reasons, the organisers of Africa Militaire will unfortunately not present the following at AAD 2006:
- The scale model world championships
- Hobby and scale model exhibitions
- Model train layouts
- Wargaming events
However, a Youth Program will be presented again with the planning well under way at the show in Cape Town. I have been appointed again as the Chairperson for the Youth Program and a committee is established. The focus this year will be careers, education and technology. No model "make and takes" are envisaged.
The website will be updated in due course to reflect the new information for the air show. Notification will be given when the new website is completed.
I wish you all of the best in future with your hobbies and activities.
Kind regards
P. J. (Bobby) Keller

Got the mail last week. It is a big let down for us.
The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has it's limits. When in doubt, use rule of thumb. Rule of thumb says to use twice the amount of high explosives to get the job done. There is no problem that can not be solved with the right appl

Good stuff. You guys take outside modellers in the club in Vaal? Say from Potch as IPMS Potch has ceased to exist and is now a loose collection of modelers and Wargamers here in Potch.

Good news is that I have secured a brilliant venue for a modelling expo from 1 - 3 Sept. 2006. I will fill you in on all the details very soon.
Waiting to hear from you guys.
