I found this link on a gamming forum for World of Warcraft. I had a good laugh because I have some D&D friends that act just like this.

Man,

Some of that hit close to home. "10d6 lightning bolt, no saving throw." LOL
When we played D&D we were actually had some young ladies that played, too. In fact, one of our regulars is now a pretty famous writer. Pretty easy on the eyes, too.

How did you get so lucky Shaun? The ladies who played DD with me and my friends looked like lady orcs. :-)

That's great. Very well done. just got to love the Gencon T-shirt

Some years ago (in the 80’s) there was a very bad film about a group of kids who were obsessed and it ended up in the World Trade Center. Does any know what this film was? I’m sure it was not Mazes and Monsters but I can’t find a listing of it anywhere

I don't know if this is the same one, but Internet Movie DataBase lists a 1982 TV movie, Mazes and Monsters starring none other than Tom Hanks!

When I used to play D&D in my student days, it was more like an all-day eating and drinking marathon. Playing with people who'd been out harvesting all the mushrooms they could find in the surrounding fields was errrrr.... an experience

I just thought that I'd throw it out there. (Laugh) I love the facial expressions in the film. They're so serious :-)

Dave, I think I know exactly what Judges your talking about.... *Grumbles* rivet counters.

Shaun, when you see Laurell, tell her I enjoyed reading 'Death of a Darklord'

I suppose I am the lucky one here. I am DM of a group of 6, 3 of them are women
