The 2006 Alberta AFV Modeller Show should be held around the third week of September. A firm date has not been set.

The theme award category for this years show is "Big Guns". It will include indirect fired weapons dating from 1900-present. The rockets, artillery, mortars, or missiles can be vehicle mounted, self propelled, ground mounted, horse drawn, rail mounted, or towed.

Both shows are great to attend and there is a ton of excellent entries from all over Western Canada and the US.

This show is a great little "winter warmer" to kick off the season. It usually gets a really good crowd and a lot of good vendors.

In the fall, the Ajax show is usually on the last weekend in October. I'll post details when they're made available.

So much for the Flames last night. Tres tres dissapointing.

At least the Oilers are still in it.

The 17th Annual CAMS show in Fredericton, was a huge success!!!!! Lots of numbers broken, we had over 60 entrants and over 170kits on the tables, which may not seem like much compared to a big city show, but with less than 2million people to draw on, from 3 provinces, some drives of 4hrs away, its a pretty good turnout.

Pictures to follow when I get time to upload them, and the powers that be on this site get a chance to post them.
