I was putting in some volunteer time at a youth centre on a mural painting project and when I came out some A**H*LE had prised my car door open and tried to start the car. They failed but they wrecked the ignition and I had to be towed home. The police offered to take the car away to be fingerprinted but did admit that there was actually no point in doing this.
I tell ya it's destroying my faith in good karma

Sorry to hear that. Been there and done that and have the large bill to show for it. Does really
you off. Makes you wish you'd come out and caught the
in the act so you could exact retributiion with a 10 pound sledge and a cinder block. It's been my experience that karma does work. Maybe you won't be part of it or even know when it's happened but it will.

I'm Sorry to hear that. Hope you have an insurance that will cover your los.
Fortunately I have never had my car stolen.
A few years ago I sold my old Honda Civic, to my sister in law. She had it for less than a year, before it was stolen. The car was never found. Only thing they found was the licensplates, which were found on the hood of a police car, in front of a police station, 30 km from were the car was stolen.
At least the thieves had a sence of humor.
