hey
this is my second go at flags first one was the nazi flag made from a teabag and this is a russian flag made from toothpaste tube aka lead foil.
this is the hole of the flag:
and this is up close of the hammer sickle and star there needs to be a few more improvments on the flag which i will touch up later
sorry if it looks a bit white but it is yellow
flag is made out of lead foil painted red then the hammer,sickle and star was painted with a pin.

If you have an airbrush that will give it a smoother overall look.
You could even play with creating a template for the symbol on a computer. Print out a copied symbol and cut out the inside area to act as a template. Then draw it on or air brush it.
The hammer and sycle look a little to far to the left
