REME directions to said trailer:

"Go to ***** Barracks and drive round till you see a *%^£&% great big trailer with four wheels. You can't miss it, you'll recognise it as soon as you see it".

I did and I did. It's a big beast! The top of the wheel arches are about shoulder hight on me... And I'm six foot tall.

Looks like something barv would build.

Steve, hopefully the Warrior in front of the trailer has a "boom stick", and not the usual reccy thingies?

Cheers
Erik

Nah mate, It's a REMF REME version and has no boom stick at all. REME aren't allowed sharp objects or anything that might go "BANG". :-) :-) :-) :-)

Sorry james, been editing my galleries so I fixed the pic but it was actually the crack about the REME and sharp objects I was referring to.

Hey Murdo - I thought that as a gunner I'd get a nice BIG bang-stick and go hide with the REMFs - so in their infinite wisdom the army gave me a poxy little pop-gun and said "This is what you can kill tanks with"!
(mid-1970s vintage 105mm gunner!!). They didn't give us sharp things like shovels so the REME had to come up with their girt big diggers to make holes for us to hide our pop-guns in - usually they made them so deep we could only fire in howitzer mode. :-)
