That's gotta hurt. Here in Massachusetts, that would be covered by insurance without a deductable. What are the rules in Nebraska?

Yeah..its my car.. We had a major windstorm here with winds in excess of 50mph. The tree is an old old tree and i guess just couldnt stand up to the force of the winds.

As far as the insurance..its an old car '96, and i only have the bare bones insurance on it...Oh well..Kinda ironic that Kevin and have been trolling the adds for a new car for the past week..

Mary, if I may be so bold.
I think that is Gods way of saying "git yer butt back down to S.C."
It's time we recalled all native born southerners. We're being invaded down here from all directions by yankees.

The wife and I were laughing the other day and I told her we should move to either Florida or New Jersey. She asked why and I told her that all the people from those states are now living here so there should be plenty of empty space where they came from.

Side Note:
The above post was in no way meant to be negative towards anyone living in Florida or New Jersey. Any similarity between the use of the word "yankee" and any actual living persons is purely coincendental. We here in the south love all Americans. We just happen to put yankees towards the bottom of the "love" list. :-)

I was worried about that last night. I had my truck parked under an old half dead tree and we had the winds you had, 50 mph.
You can always put in an Indiana window, a black Hefty trash bag...

Must fight urge to tell Taurus jokes...

Mary, that really sucks! Sorry to hear about the damage. We had high winds here in southern MO as well, but nothing that bad.

Look at it this way, though: Duct tape adds character! Maybe this was a change for the better! :-)
(please don't hurt me...)

Mary, sorry to have seen this happen. I was out of town and just got back... I was out deer hunting in that wind Tuesday. May I say the wind was horrific out there! It really was a killer wind!

Bummer about the glass Mary. I know like Al said, if you call a glass company here, they will be on location within a couple hours to change your glass they'll even do it at your work place. I hope all goes well. I wouldn't wait to long with the plastic and tape because you don't need eletrical problems if water gets in, and it will.

Good Luck!
