Thanks for Boss for highlighting the Evergreen styrene. Actually Kenny told me last month about it that the Towkay called him regarding the new stock of Evergreen products.
I don't think I'll be going there anytime soon but if anyone is going I would also like to kirim. Haven't been scratchbuilding lately but a few 0.5 mm. and 1 mm. sheets are always useful.
Boss why do you need the wet palette if its so expensive. Kalau you pakai acrylics just add water to your paint in an ordinary palette. Cover as close as possible with a aluminium baking sheet and place a styrofoam over it. Put something heavy on top of the styrofoam. I usually stack 4-5 palettes with a styrofoam sandwich and put my Letterman pliers on top.
I manage to keep my mixed acrylics wet for a 3 days depending on how much water you add. You can also add Tamiya thinner tapi it evaporates faster even when covered. Just make sure you stir well on re-use.
Cheaper lah. My palette (6 wells) only 0.60cts. Baking sheet probably 0.02 cts. Total cost not including water 0.62 cts if you don't count the weight.
CK my friend,
actually, my pallet also the same like yours la.... 40sen saje.. i bought the small pallet...and i have about 7-8 of them. i wrap them with alum sheet as well...they also can last but i never mix so much of paints and used tehm for more than 24 hours....
so i just gatal after reading the book la...
i just gatal to have a look at multifilla, to see how much it cost. kalau below rm10 ok la...but for rm75, i rather invest in something else...
and i saw they have also balsa wood...
so many things and again, everthing is expensive
let me named a few
1. empty plastic eyedropper bottle - a little bigger than vallejo bottles, rm5
2. a 1'x2' perspex rm75
3. a set of diamond files rm95
4. paaschee airbursh (single action, bottom feed) rm280
5. flexible hose (just like i got for my dremel) rm380
and macam2 lagi la...
cuma that old man said the evergreeen plastic was tak laku sangat..
and they're closed from this friday until 6th Feb
