I entered a post in the Armor section earlier today regarding weathering an M1A2 in OIF. I received one reply at about 4:00 p.m. EST. I just checked back and now the post is gone. What happened to it?

You mean this one?: https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/68361&page=1

Your computer probably didn't refresh to a new page when you went looking for it.

Yes that's the one. Oddly enough when I go to the Armor forum, I don't see the post. I've tried checking the Techniques box and pulling up only those topics and it doesn't show up then either. Strange.

Cary,

For some reason the post was last updated at "NOV 08, 2005 - 10:02 AM by Erik67"..... which is why you can't find it..... scroll down (in the Techniques category) to 8 November '05... it's there...

I can only guess that for some reason Erik's system clock is screwy...

HTH

Thanks Rudi. When I looked at the Techniques posts the first time, I didn't look past January. I'm glad you saw it because I was starting to think I was loosing it or something!

Was it my fault? I answered Careys post, and as he stated it was suddenly gone... and my system clock is not "screwy"

If your system clock is right, then it was probably just some glitch. I was on another site once where this happened to a lot of peoples posts all of a sudden. They said at the time that there was a problem with their software and they were looking into whether or not they had been hacked.

hello cary,

a good way to keep track of your posts can be found at "my account" in the topline.

check the button "my forum posts [topics started]".

Sorry Erik

Didn't mean to blame you... but that would have been my first point of troubleshooting... the next is naturally the server...

No worries though, lads.... Cary's got his post
