I am going to use Easy Lift Off made by Polly S on a kit that i finished a couple years ago and was never quite satisfied with. Reading the directions of the ELO I saw that after removing the finish, washing and drying the model Poly S reccomends applying Plastic Prep to the model. Is this step necessary? If so does anyone know any internet hobby stores that carry Polly S products or of an equivalent Plastic Prep product?

Plastic Prep is a product that has been on the market for a long time. I used it many times in the late 80's and early 90's. It is the equivalent of a mild detergent solution. Any washing technique you've used in the past will work. Polly S is just plugging their own product.
