yesterday, i was so bored sitting at my 'studio'. got no mood to build anything. So arm with my trusty camera, i took photos of what's on the bench...some of the in-building progress shot...

this is RARE project

1/350 Enterprise.
i build it 4-5 years ago la...then simpan dalam kotak... i took it out 2 week ago and found some of the parts are either broken, tercabut and missed!! so have to redo all over again... i'm going to build it for Flat top campaign ...the due date is June 2006... hope i have all the luck to finish this huge plastic!!!

and last night before i slept, i was so gatal to have a peek on my next project which has been put on hold for more that 3 years already

1/35 Cobra from academy. in the photo i try to redo the paintjob.. the heli is in his black scheme.. i already painted black but after the gold decal failed me, i gave up...scrap the paint..and plan to do the desert USMC cammo..that;s why the tan color
but then, a few month back, our friend Joe (mother) gave me the two bobs, whiskey in the mix cobra ..so now i plan to do the scheme.... so after i took it out last night, i spend another 1 hours masking the cockpit and canopy...tak sabar nak balik rumah this evening...hehe

waaa... you got a lot in-progress... no wonder you can't finish anything! he he he....

anyway those are some good-looking dios/models you got there... i esp like the flak bunker, the street scene and the sdkfz 7... have to see them personally later la.

care to tell how you make the street dio? as for the flak88 my own progress is ZIP la... he he... haven't started yet... but you did a nice job assembling it that it'll be a shame to cover it with paint.

and Kenny, no wonder you're quiet these days...been busy with that kit ehh?? i think most of us here feel the same way when the baby is born... just be patient in a next few months, you're on your feet again....

As mentioned to you earlier Kenny, A Big Congratulations on your finished model. But of course this kit you didn't build by yourself coz your wife helped.
BTW good skin tone color and subtle shading. Much much better than my Fallschirmjager.

Boss, Aiyooo.......so many beautiful projects but all half way. What happened kawan. You can't give the same excuse as Kenny cos your kit/kid was sometime back. Sayanglah you tak habis the street dio and Flak 43. Looks like you've forced me to take over some of your figure projects (hehheh).

Boss based on the number of unfinished sets and I must say some of them a well done and so close to finishing the rest of us tak payah post. You know why coz your unfinished models is enough to represent each of our unfinished project and still got leave some leftover.

CK, the projects not half way (yet) la.... i'm going to finished all of them by this JUNE!!!

of course mine excuse is diffrent from kenny's..coz now my daughter can walk already la...she's always searching for me when i'm not arround..and somehow she managed to find me in the hobby room upstairs.....and she insist me to open the door..and she forced me to give my ergonomically designed chair for her...so that i can sit on rm6.90 plastic chair... and then she would pour the thinner on the table just becoz i was so stupid not to tighten the cap...and then she played with your 1/16 MP-40 and broke the nozzle........haiya..so many reasons la....at the end, i've have to hand carry her downstairs, and put her to sleep, which usually i went to sleep first..and not her
so that;s why laaaaa tak siap2....
hehe


if u want to take some of my figs, pls do so...haha..after all u dont like other stuff beside the para jumper ..hehe

i painted with Mr.Color range. The two tones cammo are spray free hand.

The decals however are nightmare to me.especially the long snake pattern decal....made from towbobs. In each side, the snake is cut into two...but i still doesnt like it so i cut them into 5 pieces. I did on both side. A lot of setting solution are used here. Several coats after 24 hrs are needed to get the decal comform to the surface. I still need to touch up a bit on the decal with Micro Set and Micro Sol.
