I just recieved an E-mail saying I purchased a Men's Constellation watch for $395.95.

THIS IS A SCAM! iF YOU RECEIVE THIS E-MAIL DELETE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look for Omegamove. This is the company name and it is totally a scam, do NOT do ANYTHING but forward this E-mail to [email protected] and delete the original.

I just now learned about "phishing" and I almost learned the hard way. I saw the price and immediately went to cancel the transaction when I noticed that they wanted all this info that paypal already has. I looked into it and lo and behold, it was a scam attempt to get my #'s.

So, if you guys get an e-mail from paypal looking for confirmation on a sale that you did not make, foreward the e-mail to [email protected] and delete the original.

Look out all ya paypal users (who I'm sure we have a few), they are out to get ya!

Remember:
OMEGAMOVE
Omega Constellation Men's watch- mint

Do not dispute the transaction because that's what they want, disputing the transaction will give them the info they need, info that paypal would already have.

My public service for today.

I agree..... since I rarely ever buy on ebay, I can easily keep track on one or two auctions a year...... :-) :-)

But the little bastards keep coming up with new ways to trick the unaware, and ill informed.....

Same here,I know what I buy and a watch would not be one of them.

If they said it was a armour kit, well then I'd have to look a little closer. :-) :-) :-)

Hey guys,
Sorry if it seems like I'm panicking, I'm really not.

But this is the first time it's happened to me and, once I cleared it up, I thought first of all my Armorama buddies who might receive the same e-mail.

Just looking out for my Buddies,

Cuhail

A quick way to check if an email is kosher is to check if it's in your ebay messages. If it's not, it's not from ebay.

Cheers

I am sometimes tempted to give them fake information so that they waste their time trying to charge to phoney accounts.

Me too! But I always fear some criminal nerd taking revenge for it and hacking my PC....
