I hate purchasing something I cant see. This set of drill is on sale at squadron, they show 5 small drill bits but fail to give the drill sizes. If anybody has this set, please let me know what sizes they are.
Thankx :-)

I've seen the sale at Squadron. The sizes are .3,.4, .5, .6, and .8mm. If I'm not mistaken, that is for the drill-bits only. The pin-vise is extra.

Mike, you are right, the vase is extra, and if you can, purchase 2 sets, because the tiny one is very easyily broken.

I don't know if this helps any prop, but i got a set of 20 bits (61-80/.013-.038) incredibly fine, perfect for drilling out ac exhausts and cannon/machinegun muzzles. At my local automotive shop for 8$(about $5.50 US). And they fit in my pin vise no problem. At that price even if they break easily its not much to replace them.

I agree w/ bison44 Get the #61 to #80 set. That's 20 bits. They're on Ebay for 5-10 bucks a set or http://www.ehobbytools.com/en-us/dept_8.html for 12.00

You have to go to a hardware store. As soon as they say its for a hobby, I swear they put a 200% mark up on everything.

If you live near a railroading store, Walthers carries the individual sizes in two packs, for about a buck and a half. I always broke my #80s, drilling out distributors on my model cars, and doing wiring. The small drills are really handy, but a bit fragile for us fumblefingers.
