Another first for Armorama?
I've just noticed that I'm using more 'Americanisms' in the language in my forum posts; so I looked around and found that I'm not the only one. Some 'Anglicisms' appear in posts from overseas members too. Is Armorama's international community starting to evolve it's own language? :-)

slightly off topic but im always getting asked by the yanks "say missile say missle" (you lot say missel) im constantly having to inform them that there is infact nothing funny about the way we pronounce it, as it is you lot who have simply forgotten it has an extra bloody "i" in there :-) I then wonder, to they take that "ile" sound out of everything... we'd have "crocadel" "whel" "pel" "the great river nel" :-)
Cheers

That's like, so totaly cool, like...
Talking about Aussies, why do they always end a sentence like a question? Like even when they answer a question?

Because you lot deemed us un-fit for your country and sent us off to some god awful wilderness which we became used to and now call it home? :-)
That's only the sheilah's who talk that way, their voice pitch always goes up at the end and they sound very optimistic.
:-)
Edit: Shay i just realised your picture has been photoshopped, thats horrible!!! :-)

Good god Dave, you must be older than Grumpy than... .
I think it might be wise at this point to add that it was not my good forefathers who sent you to a warm, sunny island, the Dutch having given back England some time before the discovery of Australia...

I wouldn't worry until you start saying "Ya'll" and acquire a south Texas dialect.
I'm just kidding guys...go Aggies. :-) :-)
